I’m going to try and walk 100K in March SANDS
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for Tommy, my beautiful baby boy born at 39 weeks and 6 days and who stayed with us for a precious 15 hours and 5 minutes.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
I attended SANDS meetings where I was able to speak to other loss parents and share/listen to their stories and connect with a community at the most isolating time.

Monday 24th Mar With 8 days left of March and 114k completed I’ve decided to not stop walking and to keep going to complete 100 miles (161k)!!!
