I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

So! After many false starts, phone battery and GPS problems ive managed to reach the total of 100k. Im so happy that I managed to complete the challenge, now time to rest with a cup of tea. Every time I went out for a walk I remembered not only my special angel baby Callie but I spent time thinking about people I know who have sadly lost a child. Hopefully the money raised through this challenge will help support the work that Sands do to help those who sadly have experienced baby loss.
