I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Saturday 28th FebI’m so proud to have finished this challenge in support of Sands. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, encouraged me, checked in, or cheered me on .. your kindness means more than I can say.
A special thank you to my sister for showing up for every single run, every step of the way. I truly couldn’t have done this without you 🤍
Most importantly, this was for all the babies gone too soon — loved beyond words, remembered always, and never ever forgotten. They may be gone from our arms, but never from our hearts. ✨
Thank you for helping me honour them

Scarlett 💞
Tuesday 20th JanIn 2015, I gave birth to my daughter, Scarlett. She was stillborn. I was only 21 years old, and nothing can really prepare you for that kind of loss.
Losing Scarlett broke me in ways I didn’t know were possible. It didn’t just affect me — it shattered my family and rippled through my friendships too. Grief doesn’t sit quietly; it changes who you are, how you see the world, and how you move through it.
For a long time, I didn’t know what to do with that pain. Even now, it’s something I carry with me every day. But I do know this: no parent, no family, should ever feel alone when going through the loss of a baby.
That’s why I’m raising money for Sands.
Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby — offering guidance, understanding, and a safe place to land when everything feels unbearable. Their work matters more than most people ever realise, until they need it.
This is my way of doing something good in Scarlett’s name. Of trying to turn something devastating into something that might help someone else feel a little less alone.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you — from the bottom of my heart — to anyone who donates, shares, or supports this cause. It truly means more than I can put into words.
For Scarlett. 🤍
