I’m walking every single step for you, my beautiful Rashaun.
You were here with us for six short, precious weeks six weeks filled with so much love, so many gentle moments, and all the joy you brought into our world. It wasn’t nearly long enough. We didn’t get nearly enough time to hold you, to love you, to watch you grow… but every second we had you was a gift I will treasure for the rest of my life. 💔✨
You may not be here in my arms anymore, but you are forever in my heart. I carry your name, your memory and all my love with me every mile, every breath, every moment. I run not just for the distance, but so the world knows: you existed, you were loved deeply, and you will never, ever be forgotten.
I do this for you, and for every family who has felt this same heartbreak losing a baby far too soon, leaving a silence so loud it feels impossible to bear. Sands holds us up when we feel we can’t stand, they listen when no words feel right, and they fight so fewer hearts have to break like ours did. They are there for families in those hardest days, and they work to make sure every baby gets the best possible care.
