I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Some of you may remember I previously ran for SANDS, and I was truly overwhelmed by the support and generosity we received. This year, I’m doing it again by running 2km every day for SANDS, a charity that provides vital support to families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby.
Losing a baby is unimaginable, and having someone so close to me go through this has deeply shaped why this cause means so much to me. The care and support SANDS offers during such devastating times is invaluable.
Because I work shifts, I’ll be adding extra mileage on some days to stay on track — but every step is for the families who need this support the most.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world and will help support bereaved parents when they need it most.
