I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
This September, I’ve set myself a challenge to walk 100km to raise money for Sands, the baby loss charity.
Many of you may not know that I suffered the loss of my first baby. It’s a heartbreak you never forget, and for a long time, it wasn't something I felt ready to speak about openly. Baby loss is so rarely talked about, yet so many families carry this silent grief every day.
One of the questions that Is commonly asked "Is this your first?" question which is emotionally hard to answer and so many parents face. it is completely understandable why that question creates such an awkward, painful spot.
I’m taking on this challenge to try and break the silence, to honor my first little one, and to make sure other parents going through this heartbreak get the care, guidance, and support they need.
