2026 Ribbon Run Virtual

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

My Baby Boy Alby Dale Hall Story 💙

Friday 18th Sep

Alby Dale Our Angel Baby Boy 👼💙

In April 2026, our lives changed forever when we found out we were expecting another baby. We were over the moon. Finding out we were having a little boy made us start dreaming about our future with him. We had plans, hopes and so much love for a baby we hadn’t even met yet.

Then, in such a short space of time, everything changed.

We were told our beautiful baby boy, Alby Dale Hall, had multiple organ and heart problems. Words I never imagined I would hear as a mum.

And then came the words that broke our hearts completely — there was no heartbeat.

On 15th May 2026, we met our beautiful sleeping baby boy. He weighed 6lb 5oz. We got to see his beautiful face, hold him, love him and say goodbye, but we should have been bringing him home with us.

Since then, life has never felt the same.

I’m learning that grief doesn’t simply disappear. Some days I manage to smile, some days I struggle just to get through. I’m trying to be strong for his big brother Bailey and big sister Bella, while carrying the pain of losing their baby brother.

But Alby’s life mattered.

Alby’s name matters.

And I want people to know that he existed, that he was loved and that he will always be part of our family.

I’m now trying to turn some of this heartbreak into something positive. I want to raise awareness of baby loss and support charities that have helped us through the darkest time of our lives. I’ll be doing sponsored walks, fundraising, sales and anything I can to help.

This is more than fundraising.

This is for Alby.

This is his forever story.

This is keeping his name alive. 🤍👼🏻

Alby Dale Hall — forever our baby boy, forever loved, forever missed. 💙
