After trying every trick in the book, nothing work. Anxiety, depression, insecurities; you name it all came in to play. We were then referred for IVF and a couple of days before our first round of IVF we found out we had fell pregnant naturally. Naturally we were over the moon!! So desperate to hold this tiny little world as our secret for as long as we could. Until the day came where we recognised something was not ok. Ultimately, we miscarried the first baby I carried. And that put as back at square one of our journey. I still to the day - all be it 6 years ago - can not put the emotions we felt, into words. Imagine having something you’ve treasured for a life time,  being taken away from you. Dreams. Crushed. Luckily for us, a year later our first born made it through an agonising pregnancy filled with anxiety and worry. His gentle soul now reflects this in his personality and I do wonder to this day if it was our doing, our anxiety and worry…
