I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why?

Monday 17th Aug
I'm walking this September for multiple reasons. 
Firstly, being that I myself have a little one in heaven.
Secondly, I want to start walking more, starting with school runs without the car. 
And finally because it's a good cause to raise funds for, having suffered a miscarriage myself, I found the Sands Facebook page and website helpful during that time, and I know they help women more directly in other ways, and for that work to continue, I am glad to participate in fundraising for them.
