I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Faith & Hope — Always My Babies 🤍
Thursday 17th SepFaith & Hope — Always My Babies 🤍
There are some losses in life that change you forever. Losing my beautiful twins, Faith and Hope, at just three months is one of those losses.
I never got to hold you in my arms. I never got to hear your cries, see your little faces, watch you grow, or make all those memories that I had already started dreaming about. But that doesn’t mean you weren’t real, and it doesn’t mean you weren’t loved.
You were my babies from the moment I knew you existed.
I had already imagined a future with you. I had imagined the little things — watching you grow together, celebrating birthdays, taking photographs, hearing you laugh, and seeing the bond between you as twins. I had already started loving you before I ever had the chance to meet you.
And then, suddenly, I had to say goodbye.
People sometimes think that because you didn’t get to spend years with someone, the loss must somehow hurt less. But losing you taught me that love doesn’t need years. I loved you in those three months, and I will carry that love for the rest of my life.
Faith and Hope. Even your names mean so much to me.
Faith — because I have had to find faith to keep going through some of the hardest days.
Hope — because even when my heart has been broken, I have always carried a little hope that one day the pain of missing you will feel a little softer.
There are days when I can talk about you, and there are days when saying your names brings everything rushing back. There are moments when I wonder who you would have been, what you would have looked like, what your personalities would have been like, and what it would have been like to watch you grow.
I wonder about the life we should have had.
I wonder about the two little people you would have become.
And I miss the memories I never got the chance to make.
Grief doesn’t disappear just because time passes. Sometimes it simply becomes something you learn to carry.
I still think of you. I still love you. I still wonder about you.
You will always be part of my story, part of my heart, and part of our family.
And although I couldn’t keep you here with me, I will keep your memory alive.
My beautiful Faith and Hope, you were here. You mattered. You were loved.
You will forever be my babies.
Until the day I can hold you again, wherever that may be, I will carry you with me.
Forever my twins. Forever my Faith. Forever my Hope. 🤍👼👼
Mum will always love you.
