I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Tuesday 13th Oct💙🏊♀️ Swimming 5k for my beautiful boy and Sands 🏊♀️💙
I’ve decided to take on the challenge of swimming 5k to raise money for Sands, a charity that supports families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart because I lost my beautiful little boy when he was 10 weeks old .
There are no words to describe the pain of losing your child, and it’s something no parent should ever have to experience. My little boy’s life was far too short, but he will forever be a huge part of my heart and my life. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.
I’m taking on this challenge in his memory, to do something positive in his name and to help other families who find themselves facing the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their precious baby.💙
This 5k will be both physically and emotionally challenging, but I’m determined to do it for my little boy. He is my reason, my strength and my motivation to keep going, even when things get tough.
