I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday 1st SepMy 50k for SANDS – In Memory of Zach
In 2011, my world changed forever when I lost my eldest twin, Zach. Nothing can prepare you for the heartbreak of losing a baby. In the midst of my grief, I was fortunate to be befriended by a member of the SANDS charity team. Their support, compassion, and understanding helped me through some of the darkest days of my life.
This September, I’m taking on a 50k challenge to raise awareness and funds for SANDS – the stillbirth and neonatal death charity. Every step I take is in memory of Zach and for all the babies who are no longer with us. It's also for the families who continue to face unimaginable loss and need the same support I was so grateful to receive.
