Albie And Ob running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
As some of you will know, myself and Carly lost our baby boy Noah in 2014 at 42 weeks. The 18th of July 2014 was the first we had heard of and also witnessed the truly amazing work this small charity does.
Without Sands, in that most tragic time, we would never have received the support we so desperately needed and most importantly the memory box that keeps Noah's memory alive for us. Having this allows Noah's 3 beautiful siblings to be close to him in the only way possible - we keep his clothing and photos safe in this box.
Noah turned 11 years old this year and his little brother Albie really wanted to help support the people that helped us.
So Albie will run as far as he can and I’ve committed to running at least 50k in September for every much-loved baby who sadly left this world too soon.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
