I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Why I'm running for sands
Sunday 31st AugThere are some things we don’t talk about enough.
There are losses that happen quietly.
I am running to support Sands – the baby loss charity – because there are too many women, too many families, who carry their grief in silence.
This is for the women who have lost.
For those who spent years trying and never saw the two lines they longed for.
For those who faced loss after hope.
For those who feel their hope slipping away.
The worst thing is feeling alone – and you can feel alone even in a relationship. I know this personally. In the hardest moments of grief, I was avoided by a ex partner who dismissed my pain, who didn’t believe in period pain, who thought women’s struggles were “making a big deal about nothing.” That kind of silence and disbelief can be crushing.
So I am running for every woman who has been through this.
For every family who carries invisible grief.
Because no one should walk this journey alone.
If you would like to support me in raising awareness and funds for Sands, please consider donating.
