Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. My Reason for Fundraising

Hi I am Nikita, a reason first time mum. Throughout my life I have had many family members and others close to me experience baby loss. It’s something so many women and couples go through. Being a new mum has made me emphasise more with baby and infant death.  I saw this fundraiser and decided to attempt it, hopefully in getting myself out more postpartum and in turn raising money for families experiencing baby or infant loss.
