I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Throat infection
Saturday 21st Feb I have been hit by a very bad throat infection this week which has been really grim so I have not been able to run now for over a week. I am still hoping to complete the marathon before the end of the month but if I don’t I will try to do it again in March for everyone that’s donated xx Share
Why running
Friday 6th Feb I have been thinking about why this challenge appealed to me. After my friend lost her child there was a period of time where running helped her. I’m trying to use this 2k a day to connect with her while pushing through the stitches, horrible rain and dodgy knee. I just wish I had run with her one time. You only really regret the time you didn’t spend with someone. Share
Why I am supporting Sands
Thursday 29th Jan I had a dear friend who lost her lovely baby a short time after giving birth to him. I think about them both every day and want to do this small thing to help raise money to support other people who find themselves in this heartbreaking place. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
