I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why?

Monday 1st Sep
I am walking in September to raise money and awareness of Stillbirth and baby loss. Our family was impacted by this a few years ago - our beautiful granddaughter was born sleeping. We were blessed with a lot of support but there are many families that are not aware of it and who have received very little help or support. We hope that raising more awareness this month will help other families in the future. Being post hip replacement and still in my recovery period this walk will be a big challenge for me but one I want to embrace! All in the name of my beautiful granddaughter x
