I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Supporting families through SANDS 🤍
Tuesday 18th AugI’ve decided to start fundraising for Sands because it’s a cause very close to my heart. 🤍
Sands is the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity. They support families who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss, providing compassionate and specialist support through their helpline, online services, local groups and resources. They are there for parents, partners, siblings, grandparents and anyone affected by the loss of a baby.
But Sands does so much more than provide support to families. They work closely with healthcare professionals and provide specialist training to help midwives, doctors, neonatal teams, GPs, health visitors and other professionals develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to provide sensitive, compassionate and high-quality bereavement care.
Sands also works alongside researchers, healthcare professionals and bereaved families to improve maternity and bereavement care, campaign for change and help save babies’ lives. Their work is about making sure families receive the care and support they deserve, while also learning how more baby deaths can be prevented.
I’d love to raise as much as I can to support all of this incredible work. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help Sands continue supporting families, training professionals and working towards better care and safer maternity services.
