Hundred for Hughie
Since losing our son Hughie in April I've found some small solace in getting out and running again, and so have committed to running 100k in September in his memory, and for every much-loved baby sadly not here today. We received so much support after losing Hughie from all the staff at Jessops and want to make sure every family across the country affected by baby loss gets the same, Sands are dedicated to doing this.
I’ll be running the last leg by doing the Sheffield 10k in support of Sheffield Hospitals Charity with my good friend Tom, whose son Liam was also born sleeping and was cared for at Jessops. Any donations to that cause would also be gratefully received.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
