I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

100km for My Son, for Sands 💙
Friday 29th AugOn 21st September 2021, my world broke. My beautiful son was born sleeping, and my heart was shattered. Nothing prepares you for that silence, for the love you hold with nowhere to put it.
I’m taking on the 100km challenge for Sands in his memory – every step filled with love for him, and for all the babies gone too soon. This isn’t just a challenge, it’s a way of keeping his memory alive and turning my grief into something that can help others.
Sands is a lifeline for families like mine. They support parents through the darkest days, train healthcare professionals to give compassionate care, and fund research to help save babies’ lives.
Every kilometre I complete is for my son. For the life he never got to live, and for every family who should never have to walk this road alone. 💙
