Our Beautiful Olive 🤍
Our beautiful little girl, Olive Hope, was born sleeping at 31+1 weeks on Sunday 12th July 2026 at 9:47am.
Although our time with Olive was far too short, we were incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to spend precious time with her after she was born.
Having access to a cooling cot meant that Olive could stay with us for longer. It gave us the gift of time, allowing us to cuddle her, hold her, make memories and say our goodbyes without feeling that everything had to happen so quickly.
I was even able to go back and spend another three days with Olive. Those three days are memories we will treasure forever. In the middle of something so heartbreaking, the cooling cot gave us something incredibly precious: time with our daughter.
We know that not every bereaved family gets the opportunity to have this same experience, and we would like to honour Olive by helping to change that.
We would like to fundraise to help provide a cooling cot for another bereaved family, so that other parents in our situation can have those precious extra hours and days with their babies. Time to hold them, talk to them, make memories and say goodbye in their own way.
To honour Olive and raise money for this very special cause, we are going to take on the Butterfly Valley Walk in the Brecon Beacons. 🦋
The butterfly has become a beautiful symbol for Olive and our family, and completing this walk in her memory will be incredibly special to us.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us get closer to our goal of giving another family the precious gift of time with their baby.

Loved from the very beginning.
Gone far too soon.
At 18 weeks, we lost our precious baby in a silent miscarriage. A tiny life who was so deeply loved, wanted and already a part of our family.
You were never meant to stay in this world, but you will forever remain in our hearts.
Our hearts were broken the day we lost you.
Our love for you never will be.
