I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

My why🤍
Tuesday 4th AugThis September, I’ll be taking on the Sands 100K challenge.
For many people, it might just look like a long walk. But for me, every single step has a meaning.
I’ve lost three babies.
There aren’t really words that can describe the heartbreak of pregnancy loss. It’s a grief that stays with you, even when life carries on around you. You never stop wondering who they would have been or imagining the future you hoped for.
After everything I’ve been through, I wanted to do something that honours my babies while also helping other families who find themselves walking this same heartbreaking path.
That’s why I’ve chosen to support Sands.
Sands provides incredible support to bereaved parents and families, helping people feel less alone during the darkest moments of their lives. They also work tirelessly to improve maternity safety and fund research to help save babies’ lives.
The 100K challenge won’t be easy, but neither has this journey.
Every mile I walk is for the three babies I’ll never get to hold. Every step is for every parent carrying the weight of loss. And every donation, no matter how small, will help Sands continue supporting families when they need it most.
If you’re able to support me, whether that’s by donating, sharing my fundraiser, or simply cheering me on, it would mean more than I can say.
Thank you for helping me turn my heartbreak into something that can bring hope and support to others.
This walk is for my three babies. I’ll carry them with me every step of the way. 🤍
