I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. I honestly don't think 100km is going to do enough healing for me.
The plan is to walk from Middlesbrough to my mams house in Portsmouth.

****Its a 500km+ walk****

So, I have a request for any friends or family that might be able to help.
I'm always on a budget, so this journey is going to be difficult, but achievable.
All I need is a lend of any hiking equipment that anyone might have lying around or in storage.
I already have a tent and sleeping bag and plan on buying a couple of OS maps, I'm planning the route to rely on campsites and intermittent cities along the way for exits if it gets too much.
However, a large portion of the walk will be taking hiking routes, away from A and M roads etc so I will need some sort of hiking pole/walking pole and any other items of use during a long range expedition of this kind.
It's a bit of an ask, but I figured I'd enquire before spending money I don't have, that I could have just directly donated anyway.
Think of it this way, this can be your way of donating to a charity that is VERY close to my heart, without spending a penny.
