I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

My Updates
Rose 10 Years, 100km, and a Heart Full of Love
Friday 28th AugTen years ago this April, my world changed forever. The grief of losing my daughter rose haven't disappeared over the last decade it has simply become a part of who I am, alongside an everlasting love for her.
When I left the hospital, I carried a memory box provided by Sands. Inside were her tiny footprints, a blanket, and the little Angel Pocket she rested in. Looking back, without that charity and that box, I wouldn't have those physical things to prove that she was here memories I hold so tightly to my heart That box gave me something real to touch, to hold, and to keep forever when I felt like I was walking away empty-handed. It is one of the most meaningful things I own.
To mark this 10 year milestone, I am walking 100km for Sands.
I’m taking on this challenge to honor my daughter and mark a decade of loving and missing her, but also for every other family who carries this quiet heartbreak. I want to make sure other parents facing the unthinkable get that same comfort, support, and care when they need it most.
Every step I take is for her and for them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story, supporting my journey, and helping me keep her memory alive.
