I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Support me as I take on my distance in support of Sands, helping them to continue to build a world where more babies survive and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.

By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Riley

If you don’t know our story my name is Liv and my husband is Keelan we have a little girl Elena who is almost 4 and last year in October we found out after a long journey of ttc and two miscarriages we were pregnant with our rainbow baby Riley. At our 20 week scan we were told there were a few things that didn’t look right and eventually Riley was diagnosed with digeorge syndrome. After the most heartbreaking few weeks and constant appointments and tests we gave birth to our baby boy sleeping at 26 weeks in April. Our life is forever changed by Riley in the best and worst ways. Our hearts are so incredibly broken but he gave me such a beautiful thing and that is love, losing Riley taught me more about myself and my family and what’s really important in this life. I want Riley to be my shining light always, he deserves to be more than my sadness cause he has already don’t so much good for the world without even having to try🤍
