I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

On the 4/1/26 our hearts were absolutely shattered to be told our baby no longer had a heartbeat, experiencing a second trimester loss. 
Our beautiful tiny baby has left a huge hole in our hearts and changed our lives forever. 
The care and support we received were exemplary but unfortunately we noted that most of the things we needed during this time had been donated by some incredible charities, from the memory boxes to the emergency wash kits. 
The other thing we have noted is that pregnancy loss makes people feel incredibly uncomfortable, from being hurried out of florists to conversations avoided or abruptly finished. 
It's our mission to remember our baby and break the stigma, if we can raise some funds to help other families as well, how incredible would that be?! With that in mind I have signed up to run 2k a day during February, I would be so grateful of any donations which will help SANDS support families affected by pregnancy loss, stillbirth and infant loss and all the in-between.
