I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

For Harry 💙

Tuesday 25th Aug
This September, I’ll be taking on the Sands 100k Your Way challenge, walking 100km in memory of our beautiful Harry. 💙

September is always the hardest month for us. It is the month Harry was born, and this year he should be celebrating his 4th birthday. Instead, we will be marking another birthday without him here, another year of wondering who he would be and imagining the little boy he should have grown into.

Taking on this challenge feels like something I can do for him. Every kilometre will be for Harry, for the four precious days we had with him, and for the love we will carry for him for the rest of our lives.

I’m also walking to support Sands and the incredible work they do for bereaved families, helping to ensure that nobody has to face the devastating loss of a baby alone.

100km feels daunting, but grief has taught me that sometimes you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other. So that’s what I’ll do. For Harry. Always for Harry. 💙
