I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
I’m taking on a sponsored 5K in honour of my dear friend and in loving memory of her beautiful daughter, Hope. 💗
Baby loss is something no parent should ever have to experience, and seeing my friend walk through such an unimaginable loss has shown me just how important compassionate support can be.
The charity I’m running for was there for my friend during one of the most difficult times in her life, offering support, care and a safe space when she needed it most. That is why this run means so much more to me than simply completing 5K.
Every step will be taken in honour of Hope, in support of my friend, and for every family who has experienced the heartbreak of baby loss.
I hope that through this run, I can raise both funds and awareness so that this incredible charity can continue being there for families when they need them most.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
