I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

💜 **My Story – Walking for Callie** 💜
On **1st January 2025**, my beautiful baby girl, 💜Callie🩷, was born sleeping at just 19 weeks and 5 days🦋🪽. We never got to hear her cry, see her open her eyes, and we will never get to see her grow up – but she is and always will be my daughter.
 
The day we said hello and goodbye all at once broke me in ways I can’t put into words. No parent should have to go through the heartbreak of losing a baby, yet so many of us do – and far too often, it’s faced in silence.
 
That’s why this September – my birthday month – I’ll be walking **100 kilometres** in Callie’s memory to raise money for the baby loss charity Sands.
 
Sands is there for families after the loss of a baby at **any stage of pregnancy**, during birth, or shortly after. They offer understanding, comfort, and a place to turn when the world feels impossible to face. They also work tirelessly to save babies’ lives through research and campaigning for safer maternity care.
 
I’m taking on this challenge for my daughter Callie, for the love I have for her, and for all the babies who couldn’t stay.
