Walk 100k in March 2026

Every Step Counts

This March, I’m taking on the 100K challenge for Sands. Walking 100K to raise money for families affected by baby loss.

In the UK, around 13 babies die every day before, during or shortly after birth. Sands provides vital support for bereaved families, works to improve care, and funds research to help reduce the number of babies who die.

I’m walking for my best friend and her partner, who experienced the heartbreak of losing a much-wanted pregnancy. I’m walking for friends and family who have faced early loss. I’m walking for my own loss. And I’m walking for my baby cousin, who we lost at just six weeks old.

Baby loss touches more families than many people realise. It’s a grief that is often carried quietly, but it never truly leaves you.

So every step I take this March is for them.. for the babies gone too soon, for the families navigating life after loss, and for the hope that one day fewer parents will have to say goodbye too soon.

If you’d like to support me, whether by donating or sharing, I would be so grateful. 🧡
