I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Wednesday 7th OctThis year, Sam and I sadly experienced an early pregnancy miscarriage. It was devastating in so many ways, and it’s something we will never forget.
Going through this loss opened my eyes to just how many families experience miscarriage and baby loss, often in ways that are deeply painful and difficult to put into words. It also made me more aware of the incredible support that is available to help people through the grief that follows.
Sands is one of those charities doing such important work, supporting families through those experiences. Their support can make an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time feel just a little less lonely.
We wanted to do something positive in memory of our own experience and help raise money to support the work Sands does for families when they need it most.
