I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk to support families affected by the loss of a baby, and to help bring light in the darkest of times.
Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.
By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping Sands continue this vital work—offering hope, understanding and support, and creating a lasting legacy in memory of every baby who has died.
Starlight Walk brings people together under the night sky to remember, reflect and walk in honour of their babies, while raising funds for Sands. If you’d like to take part, you can sign up here:

Sunday 4th Oct SANDS were and still are, almost 21 years later, an integral part of my adaption to a life I had never envisioned & my grieving & gentle healing. I shall never be healed & nor do I need to be. Losing Alfonso is one of the hardest and most complex parts of who I am. SANDS are an incredible charity. The fundraising is vital. Thank you.
