I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
Sands was therefor us through one of the most difficult and heartbreaking times in our lives — the loss of Freddie. When we were trying to navigate the unimaginable pain of losing our precious baby, their support, understanding and compassion helped us through some incredibly dark days.
We will always be grateful that Sands was there for us when we needed them most. That personal experience is a big part of why taking part in the Starlight Walk means so much to me. I want to help Sands continue to be there for other families, just as they were there for us.
Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.
