This September, I’m walking 100K in honour of every much loved baby who isn’t here today, for every tiny life that touched the world simply by existing and for every family carrying a love that never fades.
Sands is the hand that reaches out when the world suddenly feels unbearably quiet.
They sit with grieving parents in their darkest hours, they fight for safer care, they train the midwives and teams who support families and they push for research that saves lives. Their work means fewer babies lost, fewer families shattered, fewer dreams left unfinished.
Every step I take is for a baby who should be here.
Every mile is for a family learning to live with an ache that never fully leaves.
And every donation, no matter its size, becomes a little piece of hope offered from one heart to another, a soft touch of support, a gentle shift toward change.
