I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Baby loss

What a awful thing for anybody to go through, unfortunately I have faced a fair few myself the most recently being December 2024, day after Boxing Day we found out our baby no longer had a heartbeat and I had to undergo surgery 31st December 2024. 2025 has been one of my hardest years, grieve never just goes away. We named our baby ‘baby Jesus’ as we found out we was pregnant on the run up to Xmas and my girls was learning about Jesus. 
I am the most unfit person you could probably meet but i want to do something so there is support for anyone who has to go though this!
