I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
Hi everyone,
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
As many of you know, we lost a baby at 20 weeks in 2019, and went on to have two further miscarriages. That was a very sad and difficult time in our lives, and I really valued the support Sands gave us, through their forums and bereavement groups. However, there is still a lot that is not understood about baby loss and more research needs to be done.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
So, I have decided to do something I am not very good at and you sponsor me. I will be attempting to swim 2k in November and would like to raise £500.
