Sands Ribbon Run 🎀

This year I’ll be taking part in raising funds for the SANDS charity by joining in with their Ribbon Run on October 10th, what would’ve been our due date. As most people will know we sadly had a missed miscarriage in March 2026 and heartbreakingly lost our Baby at 10 weeks pregnant. We have since had a further 2 miscarriages. SANDS is one of the many charities who support bereaved families folllowing loss, whether that be through texting, speaking on the phone, offering in person support and much more and I’d love to give something back. It’s no secret that I couldn’t run even if someone held a million pounds infront of me so I really am pushing myself out of my comfort zone by signing myself up to the 10k, a challenge might be a good distraction and I WILL finish it, even if it takes me 85324 hours.

Please if you are in a position to consider donating via the link below (link also in my bio) I would really appreciate it, if everyone gave even £1/£2 we’d still make such a big difference to charities like SANDS. 

I’d also like to give a mention to the 4Louis charity who also support families following loss but also very kindly provide hospitals with the most beautiful memory boxes for bereaved families. I wish we never had to receive one but I take so much comfort in some of the items in the box, especially the teddy bears. One to stay with us and one cremated with baby. So so so special.

So even if you can’t donate to SANDS right now please keep charities in mind for the future.
