I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Hello Family and Friends,

My name is Juanita. Mother of Angel Baby Isabella👼🏽

🕯24.06.2022 was one of the hardest days 💔 having to give birth to a child knowing she had already gained her wings🪽

Although it pains me, I find comfort that she was just too good for this world and she's is waiting in Heavens Garden🌻🦋

💐The Bereavement Team at St Mary's were wonderful with their support and SANDS have shown support thereafter💞

Now, 4 years on, I think about Isabella everyday and all the milestones she would have accomplished🧸

This September, she would have been starting Reception🎒

The chaos of shopping for school uniforms, first day photos, and all the bittersweet moments that would have come with this month, (oh, what a privilege it would have been)...

Instead, I would like to pledge that I will 🚶🏻‍♀️Walk 100 km (62 miles) during the month of September.
