I'm proud (and a little nervous!) to be taking on a half marathon to raise money for Sands, a charity that provides vital support to families affected by the loss of a baby.
I'm running in memory of my beautiful nephew, CJ. Although we never had the chance to know him, he will always be a part of our family, and he will never be forgotten.
No family expects to experience the heartbreak of losing a baby. Sands offers invaluable support to bereaved parents and families during the most difficult times, while also working to improve care and fund research to help save babies' lives in the future.
Every mile I run will be for CJ and for all the families who have experienced this unimaginable loss.
