I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Getting moving for Lyla and all.

I've never been the most active person, but in recent years I've become pretty much stagnant. So I'm using this wonderful opportunity as a chance not only to raise awareness and remember my beautiful, sweet Lyla, but to also make some positive changes and get myself moving more. For mine and my family's brighter future. Some days it might be a slow stroll with my other children, others will be a faster pace, but every step I will be remembering Lyla, and giving thought to all much beloved babies that have been lost much too soon.
