I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Ah whose idea was it to sign up to swim 15k in a month?! 😏

I decided to challenge myself having not swam in such a long time…and hopefully make a small difference along the way. 

Sands was an easy choice of charity to pick to raise for as it is one that has supported so many people very dear to me. This has come in the form of counselling and therapy following pregnancy and baby loss, improvement in bereavement care and helping to prevent neonatal deaths and stillbirths. 

It’s such a worthwhile cause and absolutely every little helps, please donate if you can and in return I will share stupid photos of me in a swim cap.
