In September, I’ll be taking on a 100k run in memory of my beautiful daughter, Ava, and all the precious babies who were born sleeping. 💔

Back in 2020, after 16 long and incredibly difficult hours of labour, our beautiful Ava was born sleeping.

We were heartbroken, but we were given three precious days with her. We spent those days holding her, reading her stories, singing her songs and making memories together, as we prepared to say goodbye and help her on her next journey without us. 🤍

After a post-mortem, we discovered that Ava had been born with an excessive amount of fluid on her brain. Sadly, this wasn’t picked up on her scans until it was too late.

Ava will always be our daughter, and she will always be a part of our family. I’m taking on this huge challenge in her memory, and in memory of all the babies who have left this world far too soon. 🕊️🤍
