I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’ve decided to take part in this fundraiser for SANDS, a charity that supports families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby.
Baby loss is something that doesn’t always get talked about enough. Behind every statistic is a family, a parent, a baby who was loved, wanted and dreamed about. The grief that comes with losing a baby doesn’t simply disappear, and families can need support long after everyone else expects them to have “moved on”.
SANDS provides vital support to parents, families and anyone affected by stillbirth or neonatal death. They offer a safe place for people to find understanding, advice and support from others who know just how heartbreaking baby loss can be.
I’m fundraising because I want to help SANDS continue providing that support to families during what can be the darkest and most difficult time of their lives.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference. Even sharing my fundraiser can help reach someone who may be able to donate or simply help spread awareness of the incredible work SANDS does.
