I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
In December we found out we had lost our baby through a missed miscarriage.
On 2nd January 2026 we finally had to say goodbye to our little one – who was, quite simply, too perfect for this world.
The weeks that followed were tough. Grief changes you, and sometimes the only way forward is to find meaning in the pain.
So in February, even though I’m very out of practice, I’m going to run 2km every day for Sands.
I’m doing this:
• to remember babies who are gone but never forgotten
• to support families walking this awful path
• to look after my own wellbeing
• and to raise vital funds for the incredible work Sands do
