2k a day in February for baby loss awareness and support
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
I have decided to do this to raise awareness but most importantly to help towards providing training and resources to make sure those who work in maternity care have the right skills and quality of care for all families and babies to try reduce the amount of families who have to go through baby loss or get the best possible support they can.
This is so close to my heart after my best friend Paige and her husband tragically lost their beautiful son Elijah at over full term. A loss that could have been avoided. Elijah is thought about by soo many daily and will always be a part of so many people lives but just not in the way we all wish he was. He would have been 3 years old this February hence why I felt this was the month to be doing this.
sands campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
