100km in September for Sands

This September, Willa and I are taking on a challenge that means a huge amount to me - walking 100km throughout the month to raise money for Sands a charity that supports pregnancy and baby loss. 

This is about supporting a charity that is close to my heart and that does such important work for families going through some of the most unimaginable moments of their lives.

Over the years, I’ve seen people close to me experience pregnancy and baby loss, and I’ve seen how deeply that loss can affect couple and families. It has made me realise how important organisations like Sands are; providing support, understanding and a place for people to turn when they need it most.

Every kilometre we walk will be for families who have had to experience a loss that no parent should ever have to face.

I will be taking plenty of walks (with Willa in tow) throughout September rain or shine, tired days and good days and ticking off those kilometres one step at a time.
