I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday 24th Aug I’m walking for my beautiful baby who we lost through a difficult, traumatic missed miscarriage 5 months ago. It’s hard to comprehend how such joy and excitement, planning for and believing in the future, can so quickly turn into a pain that is impossible to navigate and explain to anyone else. Despite being surrounded by the best people, this year has been incredibly isolating for me and it has taken a big toll on my mental health. In the early days and even now, walking has been my life, and as September would have been my due date, I thought this was a wonderful way to remember and reflect on my little Taylor and all the little souls that couldn’t stay.
