I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I’m doing this
Thursday 19th Feb I will never forget the evening of 15th September 2012. I went into premature labour at home. Our beautiful baby boy was born sleeping at home. With support from the hospital Jimmy and I started to process the loss of our baby. We were given a memory box - in there was lots of information and support options. In that box was also some photo's of our boy and his hand and foot prints.
Ergh this weather!!
Saturday 7th Feb Well the weather is horrendous! Torrential rain pretty much non stop! I’ve been out a couple of days in it! Tonight I just couldn’t! So I’ve ran inside to you tube! I’ve done good so in total 14km off the 56km target!
