In September 2026, our lives changed forever when our much-loved baby boy, Baby Jones, was born at just over 18 weeks and was too premature to survive.
After years of fertility treatment and IVF, we had been so incredibly grateful to finally be expecting our little boy. Losing him has been devastating, and we wanted to do something positive in his memory while supporting the organisations that help families like ours through the unimaginable loss of a baby.
On 16 January 2027, we are holding the Baby Jones Memorial Ball — a black-tie evening in Mid Wales with live entertainment, a charity auction and raffle.
The event will be raising money for Sands and Petals, two charities that are supporting us following the loss of our little boy. This fundraising page is specifically for our donations to Sands.
Sands provides vital support to bereaved parents and families, works to improve maternity and bereavement care, supports healthcare professionals and funds research to help save babies’ lives.
We have already been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown to us while organising the ball, with businesses and individuals donating some wonderful prizes and experiences.
Our hope is to turn something heartbreaking into something that can help other families, while creating a lasting legacy for our beautiful Baby Jones.
Every donation, however big or small, means an enormous amount to us and will help Sands continue their incredibly important work.
