2026 Ribbon Run Virtual

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

My son's

Monday 14th Sep
The reason I'm doing this is because I have beautiful twin boys who live amongst the stars.
So I'll tell ya a little something about us all.
I'm a mum of two surviving kids, Heidi is 14 Kylar is 12.
My son's Hudson and Charlie would be 3 now.
I went into premature labour as Charlie got a clot in his sac.
Charlie's passed away on my living son kylars 9th birthday. The words....."I'm so sorry but this little one has no heart beat"
They haunt me. I hear them every day and probably always will.
I continued to fight for twin 2..... Now, bear in mind.....my partner, their father walked out of the hospital on day 2 and never returned.....he's still to ask what sex my kids where, if they have names....nor has any of his family!!!!
I believed I'd survive this cause I thought I had a family of my own......
Was I wrong?
Not once in 3 weeks did my grandparents, auntie or cousins on my mum's side contact me. Not fucking once. But I was expected to go home n continue as normal.
I haven't seen my ex partner nor his family and I haven't even seen my own cause they only like good times n shy from the bad. I've battled everything alone whilst being told that I shud be respecting other ppl, who quite frankly didn't respect me!!!! I wud rather die with the memory of my son's than the memory of a half arsed family.
I have a brilliant auntie who is my dads sister, she's walked every path with me and she just "gets me' and ill always be forever grateful to my nanny Devlin for giving ashley to me 😍
I hope that someone somewhere gets to understand this charity because of my words .  Sorry that I had to be there to enable this, but here I am. My nanny's wee granddaughter 🤜💪
